Start with the site and the operating requirements. A street light should be specified as part of a complete lighting system, including the luminaire, pole, power supply, controls and installation conditions.
Three configurations to compare
- LED street lights: for projects with an available electrical supply. Discuss the required lighting distribution, mounting arrangement and control method.
- Solar street lights: with a separate solar panel and lighting head. Review the panel position, battery arrangement and access for maintenance.
- All-in-one solar street lights: an integrated format. Confirm which components are included in the proposed model and how they can be serviced.
What information should a quotation include?
Send the project location, road width, proposed pole positions, operating hours, quantity and any drawings or reference images. For solar projects, describe surrounding shade and the expected operating schedule. Ask the supplier to explain the proposed configuration for the local conditions.
Compare complete proposals
Request a model-specific specification sheet covering dimensions, materials, finish, mounting details and the supplied components. Compare the lighting design and maintenance plan as well as the initial price. Do not assume that two products with the same advertised wattage will produce the same result on the road.
Questions to settle before ordering
- Who provides the lighting layout and checks the installation requirements?
- Which pole, bracket, power-supply and control components are included?
- How are replacement parts accessed and ordered?
- Which drawings and documents will be supplied for approval?
Explore Baifu street lights or send your project brief for a configuration discussion.
